5th July 2019: Off we go to Thessaloniki after an about 1,5h delay of our flight and the boredom effect is obvious on these plane selfies...
5th-6th July 2019: Finally arrived from Thessaloniki to Volos by bus. We stayed there for a night and next morning we were ready to reach our final destination (Skopelos)

8th July 2019: 3rd day in Skopelos island... In the morning, before heading to the beach we had a stop to Saint Reginos monastery. This Saint is considered as the protector of the island...
Then, we had a quick stop to check out Milia beach, which was nice but quite rocky so we headed to Kastani beach bar again as it is one of our favourite beaches in Skopelos...

9th July 2019: A day boat trip to Alonissos...
The breathtaking view from the Old village that provides you some time to unwind and relax watching this spectacular miracle of nature...
As we didn't have much time to explore Alonissos beautiful beaches, we settled to the beach by the port of the island, where the waters are clear but I am sure that there are much nicer beaches if you have the time to drive yourselves there like Agios Demetrios and some more...
A quick refreshing break before boarding on our ferry to travel back to Skopelos..
At night, we chose Karydia tavern for the lovers of folklore Greek live music...
10th July 2019: On Wednesday morning, we followed our (almost) daily-vacation-routine. This time we went to Panormos beach which provides you the silence and the beauty that a tourist needs to escape from his daily and stressing routine.
That day ended with the most beautiful way as we had our dinner by the sea. Elias and his family are there to welcome you with their great dishes and an also breathtaking view. (Elia's family tavern)
After that, we gathered with some family friends for a drink...
Unfortunately, that night the weather turned really bad but no one would expect what would have happened the next day...
11th July 2019: On Thursday morning, we woke up to this rainy scenery so our options were limited.. After a lot of efforts to avoid getting wet we settled ourselves to the ''Little cafe'', which is a nice little, cozy place for the youths to enjoy their drink in this nice atmosphere...
After the storm, there is the light, so we got ourselves out at the narrow, cobbled streets...
And finally at night, the weather got much better but still quite chilly... My clothes show that none of us checked the weather forecast before packing... So please do when you are getting prepared for vacations...
That night we went for a doner and then we headed to the Baramarres cafe to taste the amazing sweets and ice-creams!!!!
12th July 2019: We were planning a trip to Skiathos but our plans were changed due to the weather and non-availability of seats... so we didn't let the day get wasted... If you have the chance to visit the island of Skopelos, you shouldn't miss visiting the Mama Mia cliff or as it is also known as 'The castle of Saint Ioannis''. Also, if you have the tolerance and if you wear the proper shoes do not miss out climbing up the 199 stairs to enjoy the breathtaking view from the top...
A few miles away in Glossa district, Elios beach hotel is located, which is united with one of the most beautiful beaches of the island called 'Hovolo beach'. However, the access is really hard as no cars are able to pass from there. The only way is on foot climbing over the big rocks.
and then we settled for a relaxing bath to our favourite beach destination, ''Panormos beach''.

Back to our room to get ready for our Friday night out...
13th July 2019: Our last day of bathing in Skopelos...
Our last Saturday night out in the greenest island of Greece...
After having a delicious handmade pizza in Nostos restaurant, we headed for a drink and to admire that exquisite view by night at the 'Rock' cafe-bar...
and then we had a night stroll before going back to our rooms to relax for the next day's loooooong trip back to Thessaloniki...
14th July 2019: One day before landing back to Cyprus, we had to follow the same route back again to Thessaloniki... so we set off from Skopelos Port to Volos by the ferry...

15th July 2019: The day of our departure to Cyprus early in the morning...
Waiting and waiting until we are finally ready to get on the plane..

Visit Nostos restaurant for the best Italian food and other delicious dishes.
Visit Ammos restaurant for the best view and food too.

Visit Mama Mia cliff and Kastani beach bar to enjoy the view and have fun at the places where the movie took place.
